I was given an editorial assignment by ZUMA press agency to cover Papidies, a Chihuahua who won the cutest dog contest along with the $1 million prize. His owner donated the entire winnings to two Denver animal shelters. Pretty generous and amazing.
As I was wandering around the antique shops on Broadway, I saw this bright red veil – how cool would this look on an untraditional bride?!?! Just thought I’d share…
So the funny part of this story is that my husband was hanging out, watching football one night with a lawyer/friend he works with. Adrian happened to be there – they start talking and my husband finds out Adrian and I went to high school in the Chicago suburbs together, and he played soccer with my brother. To add more to the story – his wife, Carla, and I played basketball together in high school. They are now married, living in Denver. It’s a small, small world!
Carla’s family was out here for an early Christmas, and the weather warmed up enough for some family portraits. We went over to City Park and had a fun time! The Schnepfs were up for anything – goofing off and smiling pretty for the camera. Thanks for a fun shoot guys – Enjoy!

When I’m in front of my computer, editing photos, blogging, designing, etc. – I listen to a lot of music. And since I worked at a record store in high school, I’ve accumulated a ton. I look at blogs for new music, books bring me to old music, and when December hits, I get the Christmas music out and play a lot of Sufjan Steven’s Christmas albums. So anyway – I still love making mixtapes for friends (well, I guess now they are called mix cds). Have you seen High Fidelity?
