Melissa and Ryan have been married a few years and wanted to get some portraits done with their little two-year-old baby, Major. It was a hot hot hot day, so Major’s tongue was extra looong, but for a couple of Cheez-Its, he was a star. And Ryan and Melissa weren’t too shabby themselves :)
Denver dog photography | Charlie
Um, this is one gorgeous dog! Charlie’s turning 3 this month and his mom and dad, Emily and Dan, wanted to get some pictures of him before he started to show too many gray hairs on his chiny-chiny chin ;) We met on a rainy, cold day (aren’t they all like that these days , geez…) in City Park and then finished at their place. Charlie, a German short-haired, had enough get-up-and-go for 5 dogs, so there definitely wasn’t a lack of energy in these photos. He was a great model, especially when I dangled a peanut butter treat in front of my lens. Enjoy!

Denver pet photography | Bo
Bo is a sweet sweet old dog. He just wants to be pet and eat treats for the rest of his life on his favorite dog bed – sounds like my kind of a life. We got him running around the yard at one point and all of a sudden he seemed like a puppy again, but then quickly he had to take a break and was content to lay in the sunshine. Denver pet portrait: Wilbur
Wilbur is a big, slobbery, lovable Lab/Great Pyrenees mix. Amelia wanted to give Alex photos of his dog as a Valentine’s Day present. So we pretended we were going on a hike, but took photos of Wilbur instead. Amelia’s red heeler, Zoe, managed to sneak in a couple of shots too.
