Lifestyle newborn portraits are one of my favorites. The parents are figuring out this new baby and the baby is figuring out, well, life in general. You’re at home where it’s cozy and comfy. There is a lot of real life going on – crying, pooping, feeding, being exhausted. And in between those moments there are smiles and coos and just staring into each other’s eyes.
Noa (or Lil Red) was a tiny thing, though I hear she’s now growing like a weed. To watch Carly and Ilan (whose wedding I photographed a few years back) dote on her was really fun.
