First Year Portraits | Ryder
This was our third shoot during Ryder’s first year. He just turned 6 months and man is he smiley! He just watches his brothers and hangs out, pretty chill guys (until he gets hungry – but aren’t we all like that?).

Oooh these girls are too cute with such personalities! We had fun playing around in their beautiful backyard with their dog, Doyle. It’s been great shooting family portraits since the 2011 wedding season ended. A little diversity is the key to creativity for me.
This little guy is already giving his parents a run for their money. His grandma and grandpa joined us for a few shots and helped corral Logan when he started wandering. For how little his legs are, he can move pretty darn fast. There’s no need for the gym while he’s around :)

This little one is Ms. Independent. Sofia is like a little doll with her curls and big eyes. Too cute! It was so fun romping through the leaves in Wash Park on one of our last warm fall days (ummm, hello snow?!!). Thanks Carlsons!

Ryder just turned three months and we are trying to document his first year of life. I am constantly amazed at home much they grow and how fast! I met him when he was just a few weeks old, so now with his eye contact and smiles – he’s becoming a baby – no more newborn.
His big brothers, Hunter and Chase were around, so I caught them loving on him a little bit. And seriously – the love that shines out of LaDawn and Scott and onto baby Ryder is just amazing.
