The curls kills me every time I see this little girl. And this was the first time I got to squeeze this chunker’s cheeks.
Mere, one of my besties from high school, was back home over the Fourth while I was and I made her do some family portraits since she has like two pictures of her with her 7-month-old son, Gunnar and maybe five total with her three-year-old, Kingsley. By the way, I’m old enough to have friends who have three-year-olds??
Their cousins and grandparents happened to be around, so I snapped a few pics of them

I met Bridgette and Daniel when they were in search of a wedding photographer over two years ago. It’s fabulous seeing them so happy and over the moon about their little girl Braelyn. It’s easy to see why – she has such a sweet demeanor and with black hair and blue eyes – well, let’s just say Daniel will be a protective dad in 15 years.
This one totally cracked me up :)

Khristian had the idea to walk from their house to their favorite coffee shop, Wash Perk. I was totally game to do something out of the ordinary. We hung out, the girls shared some banana bread and Khristian and Ryan got their caffeine fix. We then walked over to Wash Park to let Brooklyn and Lily run off some steam (and jump in some mud, oops!). The girls were so patient with me sticking my camera in their face – they probably never want to see another camera for a long time :)

These two boys sure keep their parents on their toes, but 3-year-old Noah and 9-month-old Leo are oh so cute! I think Noah played with every toy he owns as I followed him around. Leo wasn’t too happy to wake up to my camera in his face, but he was a good sport. This family totally understood my shooting style and hopefully had fun in the process!
