Erin & Matt: Pinnacle Club Wedding

October 28th, 2009

Once again, I second shot with Gail Buhler with Encore Portraits. Erin is an elementary school teacher and Matt is a whiz, searching for a cure for Alzheimer’s. They are just plain nice people, with super close families who love each other. It was a Catholic-Jewish wedding, and to see the traditions mix together at the ceremony was really interesting. The ceremony and reception was held on the 38th floor at the Pinnacle Club of the Grand Hyatt. Oh the views! Plus, as soon as the ceremony began, the rain clouds parted and the sun shone brightly over the mountains. A little detail that certainly did not go unnoticed as people oohed and aahed. Congrats Erin and Matt!

Sean and Sarah had such a great, unique wedding. Everything took place on Pearl St. in Platt Park – from hair and make-up to getting married at the gelato shop, Nosh, to dinner at Gaia, and then back to their house for the reception. With about 35 people in attendance, Sean and Sarah seemed so relaxed and happy, which made for great photos. What a great, fun couple. I had a lot of fun shooting their big day.
Abby is one of Sarah’s best friends and she also married them.
Sarah, Abby and Logan walked through the alley so guests wouldn’t see her.
En route to Gaia after portraits at Wash Park.
Pre-ceremony glossing.

Sarah’s mom and dad.

Sarah waiting for the ceremony to begin with the Logster.

One of my favorite portraits from the day.
