Nancy and Mike just seemed so ready to be married. Mike was giddy and nervous, clenching and unclenching his fists, as Nancy walked down the aisle. But as soon as she arrived and they held hands, all seemed to be okay.  Their ceremony was at Christie’s of Genesee at sunset, which was beautiful, but can make picture taking a little difficult. Thankfully the sun hung in the sky as long as possible to allow us to get some great portraits of the two. They were naturals. Congrats to you both, Nancy and Mike!

Joel keeps calm when Britney gets stressed, Britney remains stoic when Joel sheds a tear. They showed this on their big day. They care so much for each other. They were married at Foothill Chapel in Golden and then the reception was up at Boettcher Mansion. It was a beautiful summer day with a gorgeous sunset. They were off to Hawaii for their honeymoon where they had a wonderful time. I’m sure it’s hard to get back to reality! Congrats to you both Britney and Joel!

It’s less stress and it’s just fun. Don’t get me wrong, I love the clients who choose me for my work, but sometimes second shooting is a nice break in the middle of a hectic wedding season. This wedding was at Boettcher Mansion and I shot for Gail Buhler of Encore Portraits. She’s so easy-going and great to work with. Kelly was so nervous, breaking down with her mom right before getting ready to walk down the aisle. But once she was with Kyle, they both seemed to calm down and enjoy.
