As I am burning all my photos to CDs here at the PI, I came across this image that I made a few months ago while in California for the Rosebowl.

Bryan and I had some hours to kill, so we walked the beach. Such a different feel from Colorado – the wind whipping across the ocean, seagulls everywhere – and nuns. Some walking in the water, some running alongside. This nun was collecting seashells, not caring how wet her clothes became.
