I’ve known Mike and Lauren since they were 5 and 3 – they are like family to me. While I was back home for Christmas, we braved the rain and cold to make some portraits of them for a Christmas present for their mom. They’re so grown up!

Oooh these girls are too cute with such personalities! We had fun playing around in their beautiful backyard with their dog, Doyle. It’s been great shooting family portraits since the 2011 wedding season ended. A little diversity is the key to creativity for me.

This little guy is already giving his parents a run for their money. His grandma and grandpa joined us for a few shots and helped corral Logan when he started wandering. For how little his legs are, he can move pretty darn fast. There’s no need for the gym while he’s around :)
