The wind was crazy on Stewart and Ali’s wedding day in Steamboat Springs, but just as their ceremony was about to begin, the huge wind gusts died down and we were able to enjoy their ceremony lakeside at the beautiful Catamount Ranch. Stewart looked very east coast dapper in his blue suit and Ali’s dress was her to a tee. Beautiful!
The toasts at this wedding were some of the funniest, most heartfelt ones I have ever heard. People were crying and laughing for a solid 20 minutes. Stewart and Ali were totally overcome with emotion – it was really touching to witness.
And then there was dancing! What a band – Funkiphino – they rocked it!
Ali fits Stewart really well – the way they interact and care for each other. I believe that the strength of a relationship is often witnessed in the relationships with friends and family. If they love each other a fraction of the amount they love their families (and I know they do), then they are in excellent shape. Congratulations Ali and Stewart! And a huge thank you to Kristy Rowe of Moodeous Photography. As always, she rocked it as my second shooter.

I love the pre-ceremony chaos of everyone getting the bride ready

They were oohing and ahhing, rightfully so, over the gorgeous earrings Ali’s parents bought for her
Ali’s dad wanted a moment with his daughter before the ceremony, so sweet.
Kristy’s shot:
Ali put Stewart’s ring on the wrong finger – the laughing helped break their nerves
At the end of his speech, he told Ali, “I know Stewart loves you, but remember that I loved you first.”
