Fast forward three years, add another kid, and I was drowning in digital photos, feeling so overwhelmed.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally designed the beginnings of our family gallery wall and a few albums. It felt so good to see them printed and hanging on our walls.
Tired with a never-ending to-do list, mixed with the desire to make time stop because life seems so sweet now.
She is extremely gifted and her photos fill me with so much joy every time I look at them. I love the way she’s been able to stop time and capture their personalities at different stages. We have been fortunate to work with her twice and each time we have walked away with featured art for our house. Kara is an expert at planned spontaneity where she can relate to children and make them feel comfortable.
Kara is absolutely amazing! My only regret is that we didn’t find her sooner.

(I know you think I’m kidding about the Kevin James thing, but have you seen Hitch? A masterpiece.)
My parents raised me to believe I could do anything. Not in gushy encouragement, but in how they lived their own lives. After a few years working as a newspaper photographer, I knew I wanted to work for myself, just like them.
Almost 20 years later, I’m still doing this business thing and I’m loving it more than ever. Giving families the gift of their memories just never gets old.
…having captured our baby and family photos for almost a decade. Her easygoing nature and flow of conversation allows the smiles and resulting photos to be natural and organic. Our family sessions are a welcome chance to laugh together and the walls are filled with those moments thanks to Kara’s beautiful gift!!!”
