Amanda and I worked together a lifetime ago at a newspaper, she as a reporter and I was the (duh) photographer. We’ve kept in touch as she traveled the globe, meeting up for an occasional hike or beer when we were in the same town. So, of course, it was really great to get an email from her that she was engaged and living in Manitou Springs.
Amanda and Joe were married in Woodland Park (which is beautiful!), surrounded by friends and family from all over the country. Amanda’s friend hand-made her wedding dress. How great does she look!? Joe’s vows, in poem form, brought laughter from the guests. After the sun went down, everyone was ready to kick up their heels on the dance floor.
