Wandering around State Street, Millenium Park and North Beach with Chris and Ashlee was so fun. I kind of felt like a tourist around my hometown! It was great getting to know them – Chris and I grew up pretty near each other and realized we knew some of the same people. Ashlee is a sweetheart, and, me being an Illinois alum, I won’t hold it against her that she’s a Spartan 😉 I’m excited for their July wedding – already crossing my fingers that it won’t be too hot!
