Meg and Micah’s wedding

denver wedding

What a treat to photograph Meg and Micah’s wedding at Columbia Station in Phoenixville, PA. It’s so special to be at the bride’s childhood home as she gets ready, surrounded by grade school pictures and family memories.

Their first look was emotional and calming. Meg and Micah read each other’s vows silently because there would have been no way Meg could have gotten through those out loud without ruining her makeup. The ceremony went off without a hitch, with Micah’s dad being the officiant. The flower girls provided some entertainment and lightened the nerves.

Meg and Micah’s quirky sense of humor was showcased with their monogrammed “Mr. and Mrs. Snead” fanny packs during their reception entrance. Pretty awesome.

Time and again, I am humbled to be allowed to witness the tears and laughter – all the private moments on a wedding day and this was no exception. Congrats Meg and Micah – hope you are drowning in Thai food right now! Big thanks to Lindsay Docherty for shooting with me.
