This little girl was just a few days old.
You quickly forget how little your babies were. The lack of sleep, adjusting to a new life force in your house – one that screams and eats and sucks at all hours of the day, the lack of sleep… it all clouds those first few weeks. And then you look back at the photos and somehow remember only love, the sweet newborn smell, the time in the middle of the night when it feels like it’s just the two of you in the whole world.
That’s why you take newborn photos.
Again and again, it’s so incredible to be with people during these huge life milestones. I photographed Lesley and Matt’s wedding last year, so it was such a great surprise to hear they were having a baby just a few weeks after their first anniversary. Congrats on your newest family member!
